- DAY 1: Arrival
Upon arrival, the guide will pick you up from the
airport, then have a chance to explore one of the
safest and cleanest cities in the world. According to
your interest and arrival time; you may visit art galleries,
museums etc. Then drive to your hotel with a
spectacular view over the city.

- DAY 2: Kigali- Akagera National Park
The guide will pick you from the hotel after breakfast to
visit the Kigali Genocide memorial, where you will understand
the growth and progress the country made ever since the 1994
genocide against Tutsis. Once done, set off for Akagera National Park.
This special park is characterized by woodlands,
swamps, and plain savannah landscapes which allow
a huge variety of wildlife such as elephants, giraffes,
hippos, buffalo, zebra, white and black rhinos, enjoy an
game drive where you will be observing those different animals as
They engage in their usual activities. From there head to your lodge for
a night over getting ready for the next day’s adventure.

- DAY 3: Akagera National Park
A full day of game drive in Akagera National Park will allow you to have
a chance to explore amazing species that inhabit this park especially
in search of the big 5 (i.e. Leopards, Lions, Rhinos, Buffaloes, and Elephants).
Take the time to navigate the savannah landscapes characterized by woodland, swamps, and low mountains which creates a beautiful and rich home for the wildlife. After the wildlife experience, exit the park and take a short drive to your hotel at a close town for an overnight stay.

- DAY 4: Nyagatare- Volcanoes national park
After beakfast of the hotel. Set off for Volcanoes National Park. Upon arrival, proceed to visit the Twin Lakes, nestled at the foothills of the Virunga Volcanoes, the Twin Lakes of Burera and Ruhondo offer a peaceful retreat surrounded by breathtaking scenery. Their deep blue waters reflect the towering volcanoes and rolling green hills, creating a perfect
spot for photography and relaxation. You will go for a walking tour around the twin lakes interacting with the locals and have an insight of their daily life activities next to the lake and enjoy a boat ride in one of the lakes surrounded by the
volcanoes. Once done, proceed to the lodge for check in assistance, followed by dinner and overnight stay.

- DAY 5: Gorilla trek & Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund
Rise early in the morning and transfer to the park headquarters for the briefing. After the briefing, you will join your driver-guide and proceed to the trailhead, the starting point of your gorilla trek in Volcanoes National Park. It is one of the most unforgettable wildlife experiences in the world. Led by expert rangers, you will hike through lush rainforest, bamboo-covered hills, and volcanic landscapes in search of the endangered mountain gorillas. Once found, you’ll spend a magical hour observing them up close, watching their behavior, interactions, and sheer strength in their natural habitat. This rare encounter offers a deep connection with nature and leaves you with memories to last a lifetime. Afternoon, visit Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund for a self-guided tour of one of the living memories and learn a lot regarding mountain gorillas and their conservation, as well as Dian’s dedicated lifelong pursuit of their safety.

- DAY 6: Volcanoes- Lake Kivu
On this day, you will be transferred to lake Kivu. Then begin hiking the famous Congo Nile Trail, the trail allows you to explore local communities, including villages, churches, and schools through the tropical Kivu Belt Region on the shores of Lake Kivu and interact with the locals to appreciate their way of life. Late evening, before the sun comes down, join the fisherman with their traditional boat heading out for their daily night fishing accompanied with their unique songs. After this exclusive experience head to your lodge for dinner and a night over on the bank of the lake.

- DAY 7: Lake Kivu- Nyungwe forest National Park
Before driving to Nyungwe National Park, you will take a short boat ride to visit some Islands, and climb on one of them, which is called Napoleion, a beautiful island in lake Kivu which is a home to a wide variety of birds, bats and plants for a great Lake Kivu view from the hilltop. Then continue driving along the lake to the southern part of the lake and the rainforest edge, one of the oldest forests in the world. Arrival and check in assistance.

- DAY 8: Chimpanzee trek & canopy walk
A special day where you will start early in the morning to trek the unique creation known as the Chimpanzees at is located in Nyungwe National Park offers one of Africa’s most exciting primate adventures – chimpanzee trekking. Guided by expert trackers, you will journey deep into the ancient rainforest, alive with the sounds of nature and bird calls, until you encounter a troop of wild chimpanzees. Watching these intelligent primates swing effortlessly through the trees, communicate, and play in their natural habitat is both thrilling and unforgettable. This close encounter gives you a deeper appreciation of the forest and its incredible biodiversity, making it a highlight of any Rwandan safari. After lunch and a short rest, you will do a Canopy walk, one of the highest suspension bridges in Africa. From there, you can really sense the size and how magnificent this Natural Forest is

- DAY 9: Nyungwe NP- Kigali
Have a scenic drive back to Kigali via Nyanza to visit the King’s Palace along the way. A beautifully reconstructed traditional royal palace that offers a fascinating glimpse into Rwanda’s rich history and culture. Explore the regal architecture, royal artifacts, and learn about the customs and traditions of the Rwandan monarchy. Continue the drive to Kigali

According to the flight time, a day in Kigali city where you might visit art galleries and the bustling Kimironko market to pick up some souvenirs. Later, transfer to the airport for your departure flight.
