- Day 1: Arrival - Lake Naivasha
Upon arrival, you will be met and welcomed by our guide to depart for Lake Naivasha which is surrounded by swamp and papyrus. Explore the lake and its wonders with a boat ride, where the fisherman and fish eagles compete for fish. You will also search the big families of hippos which are residents in this lake.
- Day 2: Lake Naivasha - Lake Nakuru
Have an early breakfast at the lodge and head to lake Nakuru national park, one of the youngest reserves in Kenya. Arriving in time for lunch, we start our evening game drive and proceed to the lake. It is best known for its thousands, sometimes millions of flamingos nesting along the shores which creates a unique beautiful pink lake. This is also the home of the rare Rothschild Giraffes and the white Rhinos. We reach the lodge after sunsets for dinner and overnight.
- Day 3: Lake Nakuru National park - Masai mara
Start the day driving to Masai Mara, the most famous park in the country. The reserve allows you to peek at wild virgin nature that wasn’t affected by people almost at all. In the afternoon go for a game drive in this 1500 square kilometers park, with above 100 memo species, 520 bird species, rich with all the wildlife in a very fettered soil.
- Day 4&5: Masai mara Full day
After breakfast, you will leave for a full day game drive with picnic lunches where you will explore the park as you search for the big five animals ie: Buffaloes,Lion Rhino Elephant, Leopard among many Like Giraffes, Zebras, wildebeest, dik dik, etc. You will be returning in the evening for your dinner and overnight. This day you can also visit the Masai village and learn more about how they live.
- Day 6: Kenya - Madagascar (Nosy Be)
Early morning game drive if time allows, return to the hotel for your breakfast and start the way to Nairobi for your flight to Nosy Be, where you will be picked up and, if time allows, enjoy a hike up Mompaso to observe the marvel that is embedded in its nature and community and to witness a beautiful view at the hilltop. Relax at Vanila Hotel & Spa, where you will stay for the next three nights on a soft all-inclusive basis.
- Day 7: Nosy Be (Whale Watching)
Spend the morning whale-watching off the coast of Nosy Be (season permitting), with a picnic lunch provided. This is an unforgettable experience, where you will witness these majestic creatures up close as they breach and play in the waters. In the afternoon, visit the local village to learn about the culture and traditions through interaction with the local community and to join their folk music and delight in their authentic inborn cheer.
- Day 8: Nosy Be (Lokobe Reserve)
Begin the day with a transfer to Ambatozavavy village, followed by a breezy and beautiful boat ride to Ampasipohy. Explore Lokobe Reserve on a guided walk to see Black lemurs, chameleons, snakes. birds and other unique species amidst this pristine haven of rich flora.
- Day 9: Nosy Be – Antananarivo
Fly back to Antananarivo. Upon arrival, embark on a city tour according to your interests where you can have an uptown walk to see a beautiful sunset, or if time allows, do a chocolate workshop where you will explore Madagascar’s tradition of growing cocoa and vanilla. Learn about the journey from farm to final product, discovering how these plants are harvested and processed into delicious chocolates.
- Day 10: Departure
Conclude your trip with a short city tour, perhaps visiting the crafts market or Queen’s palace, before heading to the airport for your departure. You will leave with memories of Madagascar’s incredible wildlife, culture, and landscapes.
